The Certificates of Compliance were dated October 1st, 2007 and cover the following approvals;
 for the US certificate,

 for the Canadian certificate,
    CSA-C22.2 No 157 1992
    CSA C22-2 No 1010.1 2004

The amazing new CEL-350 has been  granted approval in the category "Class 1, Division 1, Groups A, B, C and D Hazardous (Classified) Locations with a temperature classification of T4". The new FM approvals, certificate numbers 3029871 and 3029871C, for the USA and Canada respectively, add to the previous ATEX and SABS approvals that have already been granted for the amazing new CEL-350IS dBadge dosimeter.

The newly FM approved dosimeter is also called the CEL-350IS and is already available for deliveries in North America since the beginning of October 2007.

For customers who need the ATEX approval for their dosimeters then the dBadge has the approval granted by Sira by the certificate number 07ATEX2032X.

All the positive features of the current dBadge are still available such as the full 32 hour run time, the complete data logging of both Q5 and Q3 parameters and the 1 minute time history recordings.

There is a new 3 station charger unit for both master and slave units but otherwise all of the current accessories are compatible with both versions of the CEL-350 dBadge. The existing non-IS dBadge will continue to be available alongside the new IS model for those applications where IS approval is not required.

The new dBadge IS model will be of particular interest to those users who need to carry out noise dosimetry in hazardous locations such as petro-chemical plants, printing factories, etc.
