As careful as we try to be we cannot catch all the
problems. Here is one that surfaced just this month in October 2006. It
manifests itself on the LCD of the dBadge in the way that the date and time
are shown to the user after switch on. At the end of the startup routine the
unit will show the current date and time. The month characters that
usually show Jan, Feb Mar etc may show ??? if the month is October, November
or December due to a minor programming bug in the firmware of the dBadge when the number of the month is greater than 09 (September).
This bug only occurs in units with version 1.03 firmware fitted and is
easily fixed by downloading a patch from this web site to upgrade the dBadge firmware to the latest version, (currently ver 1.04).
The bug is only in the way that the dBadge shows the month on the screen
of the dosimeter. All date information about the calibrations and results
are stored correctly annotated and will not show any problems when
downloaded to dB35 software package. Go to the
After Sales Support page and download the
date bug fix now if you need it for your CEL-350 dBadge.
