From its first outing in North America at the AIHA show in
May Casella USA were quickly receiving orders from users eager to start
using the dBadge system to carry out their noise surveys in their workplaces.
First deliveries were made to lucky customers in early August 2006 and many
dozens of dBadges have shipped to end users and distributors. The pace of
delivery continues to expand and Casella USA are back to a back order
situation having sold out the first delivery in half the expected time.
"It was well worth the wait" said more than one customer when he took delivery
in mid August of his 3 pack kit. "This is a great product"' said another as
he got down to using his dBadge kit for some serious measurements in his
factory.
So far, the multiple kits seem to be the most popular according to Bob
Selwyn, V. P. of Sales at Casella USA with 3 pack and 6 pack kits especially
popular. They are such good value for money when compared to other regular
noise dosimeters that many users are going for the benefits of being able to
make up to 12 dosimeters in each kit. Never mind about 5 packs. 12 is the
new 10!!
