Along with the launch of the dBadge dosimeter comes an all
new addition to the popular CEL SoundTrack range of software. This new
package has been designed to complement the features of the CEL-350
dosimeter and it does this really well.On show for the first time at the
AIHA show in Chicago the software was ably demonstrated to users by Tim
Turney, the product manager for noise instruments at Casella Measurement in
the UK. "We have designed the new dB35 software to provide the perfect
accessory for the capabilities of the dBadge. We have used a Microsoft SQL
server database structure to interface with the dBadge and store the
measured run data files. These are shown in tabular format on screen and
allow the user to view time history profiles from the run plus the overall
dose results too. The user can construct a 'tree' structure for the
information regarding the worker, the workplace and the organization and
then simply drag and drop the measured results onto the individual to link
them together."
The dB35 software is intuitive to use and has many useful features to
customize it to how the user wants to see the run data. Views can be chosen
for OSHA or ISO style measurements while all the run data is always there in
case it needs to be reanalyzed at a later date. A very powerful software
package that perfectly and seamlessly works with the output format of the
dBadge.
