fast internet connection.
dB35 Database Migration Utility
- to move the original dB35 database of results to the new Insight program
without having to re-enter all the results (or structure) again. This
utility will migrate all the run data results and the structure (if
applicable) from a pc running the earlier dB35 software to the newer Insight
software. If the new Insight software is a clean install then all the
original structure and the data will be copied, otherwise if some structure
already exists in Insight only the run results will be moved over. Runs can
then be reassigned to the new structure in Insight after the transfer has
finished.

older version of dB35 to install this upgrade. During the upgrade all your datafiles will remain safe
in a separate folder. Run the new program file SETUP.EXE to reinstall this
version into the same folder as the original so that your existing shortcut

dB35 FULL INSTALL -
Click on the link below to download the latest version of the full dB35 software
including all the necessary Microsoft dotnetfx and SQL database installation
files and the USB infra red interface drivers. Note that there are lots of compressed files in this zip file and that the
total size is about 119 MB. Download may take a long time depending on your
connection speed!!
Download the zipped file to your local hard drive into a
temporary folder then unzip it with a program such as
WinZip
.
This single zipped file is a compressed version of all the normal
installation files that
are provided on the distribution CD with current dBadge dosimeter kits. You should unzip the files
to a temporary folder so that you can burn the contents onto a blank CDROM
to use as a backup for the future. The temp folder should be called
"C:\db35" for example. Use the unzip program to extract the compressed files
into their original folders so that the installation process will proceed as
intended.
dBadge FIRMWARE - Click on the link below to download the latest version of the
instrument firmware for the
dBadge. Currently at
version 1.07.
The firmware update file consists of the following 3 files as follows;
C350.IMG - the image file for the
dBadge
QUPG350.EXE - the executable file to perform the upgrade
UPGHELP.TXT - the small help file with upgrade instructions
Download the zipped file to your local hard drive into a
temporary folder then unzip it with a program such as
WinZip
.
Open and, preferably, print the UPGHELP.TXT text file and follow the instructions to perform the
firmware upgrade. You will need the CMC39 Infra red interface unit connected
to either comm. port1 or comm. port2 on your pc to perform this upgrade. Please note
that all stored run data will be erased in this upgrade so be sure to
download any new runs to dB35 before attempting to upgrade a
dBadge. Upgrading
each instrument will only take a couple of minutes to perform. |
